The SLIM Lab is dedicated to   research and technology transfer activities aimed at the development,   integration and demonstration of technologies and processes for the digital factory and also oriented towards workers' wellbeing.

The SLIM Lab includes an SMC   SIF-400 production line, which is aligned with the requirements of Industry   4.0 and a manual assembly workstation equipped with the ARKITE technology for providing AR-guided instructions. The lab also includes a wearable device for biometrics monitoring and eye-tracking glasses.

The Lab is conceived as a learning   and research space where human-centred applications are developed and tested   to foster the transition towards Industry 5.0.
