ABOUT
Human-centricity is a foundational pillar of Industry 5.0. The ENGAGE 5.0 partnership is committed to driving
the transformation of engineering education toward this vision, with the goal of fostering prosperity and social
sustainability. To achieve this, it harnesses the potential of learning factories to equip engineers with the
competences required to design and manage digitally enabled, human-centric manufacturing systems.

IMPACT
The ENGAGE 5.0 partnership has the strategic ambition to drive the evolution of engineering education towards human centricity and Industry 5.0.
To this end, partners are committed to disseminating project results, embedding them into their work, and sustaining them post-project.
Key tangible results include:
-
A skill framework for human-centric manufacturing
-
Modular learning pathways
-
Open educational resources
-
A network of learning factories mirroring real industrial settings enriched with digital technologies and human-centered principles.
ACTIVITIES
The ENGAGE 5.0 partnership envisions:
-
The analysis of skill gaps on human-centric manufacturing.
-
The development and testing of blended learning paths leveraging human-centric principles, frameworks and methods and cutting-edge digital technologies (AI, cobots, wearables, XR) in learning factories.
-
The establishment of an international network of learning factories focused on human-centricity in Industry 5.0.
